Introducing the GHOYC’s Peer Navigators
The GHOYC’s Peer Navigators, who are young adults themselves, are strategically placed at our local partner sites to support youth and young adults facing challenges in education, employment, and system navigation. They actively engage with their peers to promote available programs, clarify information, and facilitate connections to essential services, ensuring a smooth transition into education, training, or work opportunities. Young adults experiencing these challenges are more likely to accept help and connect with Peer Navigators who are their own age, fostering a supportive and relatable environment.
